Professor Lisa Grabert is a leading national expert on Medicare and, in particular, "post-acute care."

The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) significantly affected the U.S. health care system. In addition, the PHE had a unique effect on higher education. Like many educators, Professor Grabert used a synchronous online model to teach her Fall 2020 health policy class. After each class Professor Grabert recorded a debrief with her teaching assistant on how the students responded to the new learning environment.
